Foreshadowing

The day before Orla's birth:

1. As I was updating my diary, I mentioned to Brendon "Ooo, we have a vacancy for a birthday in January".
2. The woman we are hiring Orla's car seat from rang up "Oh no, no hurry at all, we have another month to go yet".
3. In the evening I watched a birthing video.
